Magician covers the ball with a foulard. The ball immediately starts to rise into the air with the foulard. Then it floats up into full view and rests on the edge of the foulard. Again it returns under the foulard and floats back to the pedestal.

Magician displays a pedestal type stand. An empty glass is placed on top of the stand and covered with a large handkerchief. Performer vanishes a silk hanky. The handkerchief covering the glass is removed and the silk has reappeared in the glass. Many other effects are also possible, eg. Cards, coins, bills, sponge balls, eggs, dice, rope, etc.
